IRADe is a reputed institute, which conducts multidisciplinary research, policy analysis, action programmes in the field and training in energy, environment and sustainable development. Established in 2002, the institute has collaborators and projects with well-known international and national organizations, various ministries, public and private sector.

IRADe invites applications for mid-level positions with 3 to 5 years experience initially for 1 to 3 years with very good possibility of long term extension in the following areas with respective.

1. Project Associates/Project Manager

Implementing Rural Energy Systems, Energy Analysis, Rural electrification, Biofuels, and evaluation, community driven projects

• Experience in on-field installation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation for 5 to 10 years.
• Master degree in social science, management or economics

(Retired persons with experience, ability to raise funding & execute projects are most welcome)

2. Research Analyst
Gas demand for fertilizer for alternative policies in India.

• Good record of publications, networking and fund raising ability

• Familiarity with gas and fertilizer scene in India, cost benefit analysis, Modeling ability would be an added advantage. Experience : 5 to 10 years

3. Research Analyst
Climate change mitigation, adaptation, CDM Project Development, input-output or CGE modeling

• PhD or Masters degree in economics or energy economics or environmental economics with more than 55% marks and experience for persons with Masters degree.

• Training in econometrics, programming models and other tools is desirable
• Experience: 3 to 5 years
