{"id":16655,"date":"2017-09-03T03:09:48","date_gmt":"2017-09-03T03:09:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/irade.org\/website\/?page_id=16655"},"modified":"2017-09-11T10:37:16","modified_gmt":"2017-09-11T10:37:16","slug":"overview-3","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/irade.org\/website\/overview-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Overview"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: medium; color: #000000;\">Climate Change &amp; Environment &gt; <b>Overview<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Local and global environmental issues, especially \u00a0climate change, loom large with increasing risks. \u00a0As the way forward, IRADe has adopted a multidisciplinary\u00a0approach and carries out national\u00a0projects for both climate mitigation and adaptation \u00a0in the country. \u00a0In climate change, IRADe intensively covers\u00a0climate mitigation, adaptation and negotiations.\u00a0Further, IRADe provides inputs using the activity \u00a0analysis model in the area of low carbon pathways \u00a0until 2030 and 2050 for Climate Policies in India.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">As a member of NATCOM institutions and Indian \u00a0Network on Climate Change Assessment (INCCA),\u00a0IRADe assists in country reports and provides \u00a0inputs on negotiating positions, arguments and \u00a0policy suggestions to ensure equity principles. \u00a0IRADe\u2019s environment project portfolios include\u00a0environmental accounting and valuation for Goa and \u00a0Andhra Pradesh with a focus on tourism, waste \u00a0management and water pollution.
